Future Inns Plymouth is the ideal wedding venue for people or guests with disabilities or reduced mobility and wheelchair users. Our disabled facilities and fully accessible hotel offer a range of accessories to accommodate different needs.
We believe all individuals and couples getting married deserve dignity and equality. You aren’t a burden, and if there is anything we can do before a meeting or for the big day itself to make things easier for you, please ask. We'll always be honest. If it is something we can't help with, we'll let you know.
Let's start with your arrival. The car park is large and flat, with limited blue badge parking in front of the hotel. However, there are 172 parking spaces in total. If you are arriving in a wedding car, there's a drop-off spot in front of the main doors.
Getting into the building is easy, as there are no steps or ramps to compete with at the main entrance. Once in the building, there are lifts to all the floors. These are large, and the wide corridors allow you to navigate easily. However, all of the wedding suites are on the ground floor.
Our modern yet elegant function suites offer a stylish setting to take your vows, enjoy a wedding breakfast or celebrate into the early hours. With eight different event suites, there's plenty of choice. Your big day can be personal, private and exclusive from 2 to 120 guests.
The open-plan wedding suites are found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative disabled access routes are needed. There is a disabled toilet, with bars and handrails, in the events corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. Each wedding is individually set up, so we can make sure there is enough room for a wheelchair user to view the ceremony comfortably and have easy access to the dining tables.
Our perfect wedding venue offers luxury and flexibility to suit a range of budgets. We make it clear what costs are included and are priced per person. With a range of affordable wedding packages at your disposal, including everything from welcome drinks and evening food and hotel stays.
If our packages don't seem quite right for you, we will happily create a bespoke package to make your wedding both individual and unforgettable.
We know that catering at your wedding is important. All of our food is homemade on-site by our talented chefs, using some of the finest local produce and ingredients. Children are more than welcome to join your celebration, and we have lots of options for younger guests.
As our food is homemade in-house, we can assist anyone with a special diet or allergies and intolerances. Including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.
There are two types of accessible bedrooms to choose from. A double with an option to add a sofa bed or a twin with two large Queen sized beds. Within the room, you can expect ample turning spaces.
All rooms also have tea and coffee-making facilities, a flat-screen TV and complimentary robe and slippers. Plus, home away from home services like our guest laundry room and ice buckets and our ice machine, which you can help yourself to.
Lastly, there's free parking and free WiFi.
In the private bathroom, there are walk-in showers with grab rails and an emergency cord. The sink has been lowered, as well as the towel rail and shelving where we put your complimentary toiletries to keep things within easy reach.

A deposit and a signed contract are required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments and is required to be paid in full four weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-amendable.
