What is Birthday Bus?

The Birthday Bus initiative offers free bus travel across the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority and North Somerset Council areas for the whole of your birthday month. This scheme is available to residents in the region and covers 95% of bus services operated by providers like First Bus Bristol, Stagecoach, and others. However, it excludes some routes, such as airport and tour services.

To apply, individuals must complete an online form and submit proof of age (such as a passport or driving licence) and a passport-style photo. Applications must be submitted at least seven days before the start of the birthday month to ensure timely processing, though late applications are accepted for partial-month coverage. Once approved, the pass can be used for various journeys, whether commuting, social trips, or exploring local attractions.

The open-plan restaurant is on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. An accessible toilet is found in the bar area. Parking for Blue Badge holders is at the back of the building, which is £9 per car.
