The Stereophonics are one of Wales' most celebrated rock bands, known for their enduring popularity and anthemic hits. Hailing from Cwmaman, they’ve captivated audiences for decades with songs like Dakota, Maybe Tomorrow, and Have A Nice Day. Over their career, they've achieved eight UK number-one albums and sold over 10 million records worldwide. The band’s powerful live performances, led by frontman Kelly Jones, continue to be a hallmark of their success.

In July 2025, the Stereophonics will return to Cardiff's Principality Stadium as part of their Stadium Anthems ’25 Tour, marking their first major tour in three years. Their last appearance at the venue in 2022 was a memorable event featuring Tom Jones as a special guest in a celebration of Welsh talent. This upcoming gig promises another electrifying setlist featuring timeless classics alongside tracks from a new album slated for release in 2025.

heir subsequent releases, including Cool Like You, Foolish Loving Spaces, and Ribbon Around the Bomb, have solidified their reputation, with the latter achieving their third UK number-one album. Known for hits such as Charlemagne and There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls), Blossoms bring their melodic charm and catchy anthems to Cardiff as they open for the Welsh legends.

It is incredibly easy to get to The Principality Stadium from Future Inns:

It is a 6-minute taxi ride from Future Inn Cardiff to the city centre.
Cardiff Bay train station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and takes you to Cardiff Queen Street station, followed by a 15-minute walk to the Principality Stadium on Westgate Street.
Alternatively, you could change lines for Cardiff Central, followed by a 5-minute walk.
Several buses go into the city centre from County Hall, across the road from the hotel, or from the Wales Millennium Centre.
The Aquabus (water taxi) runs hourly from Cardiff Bay between 1030 and 1630 and stops in Bute Park, across the road from the stadium. Weather permitting. The journey takes about 25 minutes.
It would take approximately 30 minutes to walk.
