Future Inn Plymouth has eight different event spaces ranging in capacity up to 300 delegates. Our private dining rooms feature ground-floor access, generous amounts of natural daylight, free WiFi, data projection or TV screen (if needed), temperature control and blackout facilities.

Bar Facilities and Drinks Packages

A private bar is also an option for your party or event, fully manned by our staff.  The team are also able to offer drinks packages, including champagne, prosecco, wine or buckets with bottled beers, lager, cider etc, as well as soft drinks, all of which can be on the tables for when your guests arrive. 

Food Glorious

Each of the event spaces offers a range of refreshment and catering opportunities, including healthy options. From teas, coffees, and pastries to lunch menus, including finger buffets or three-course dinners, our talented chefs make most of our food on-site using some of the finest local produce and ingredients.

Children

Children are more than welcome to join your celebration. An under-12 children's menu is available, and under 5's eat for free.

Buffet and Party Packages

With venue hire, bar facilities, and a menu of options, our party packages can be tailored to your requirements of up to 120 guests in our function rooms.

These packages are ideal for birthday parties, anniversaries, and other special celebrations. You’re more than welcome to bring your own decorations, hire one of our preferred suppliers or even let us take care of it.

Our afternoon tea celebration package includes:

Of course, you can add Prosecco, beer buckets, jugs of cocktails or mocktails, savoury options, canapes, LED drapes and table skirts, gender reveal balloons, a private bar and our resident party DJ.

Restaurant Dining Experience

Fishbone Restaurant is a welcoming and contemporary dining venue. Known for serving locally sourced produce, the menu showcases a delightful range of British and seafood dishes, ensuring that diners can enjoy an authentic taste of the region. From hearty breakfasts to leisurely lunches and indulgent dinners, it is ideal for both hotel guests and locals alike.

Additionally, the restaurant features an inviting bar area, perfect for enjoying a drink. In the summer months, take advantage of the outdoor terrace. A large selection of drinks is also available, including popular local brands such as Atlantic IPA, Offshore, Tarquins Gin, and Plymouth Gin. Naturally, there's a good choice of soft drinks, including refreshing fruit juices, tea, coffee, and mocktails.

If you or your guests are travelling some distance to attend the event or want to relax afterwards, several accommodation options are available.

Future Inn Plymouth is a modern and comfortable hotel conveniently located near main access roads and public transportation. It offers easy access to the city centre and the surrounding Devon countryside. Alongside its excellent location, the hotel boasts spacious and airy bedrooms - all of which sleep up to four guests - that feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a desk and workspace, a laptop safe, a complimentary robe and slippers, and home-away-from-home services like the guest laundry room, ice buckets, and wine glasses. There's also a small exercise room and free parking.

Free Parking

Free car parking is available for all event attendees. Just 4 miles from Plymouth City Centre, Future Inn Plymouth has easy access from the M5, A38, A386 and A374. The event centre is just 15 minutes from Plymouth Train Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road and outside the hotel. Future Inns is also a cycle-friendly hotel with an external bike rack, plus easy access to many local routes. Making our venues suitably accessible for your guests travelling to the event.

Accessibility

The function suites are entirely accessible and found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. All public areas and event spaces in the hotel are accessible for wheelchair users, with large doors and wide corridors. As well as fully accessible toilets. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the hotel and Fishbone Restaurant. Be sure to check out our accessible guide.
