Join us for one of our generous seasonal roast options, served every Sunday between 12pm and 5pm, and enjoy the great British tradition. We offer a one, two, or three-course lunch with a choice of traditional Sunday roasts and a selection of locally sourced and seasonal vegetables, all freshly prepared in our kitchens.

The welcoming Fishbone Restaurant is open to the public as well as hotel residents, and we pride ourselves on providing the best, mouth-watering dishes using fresh local ingredients. It is the perfect setting for a family celebration, a catch-up with friends, or an intimate dinner for two.

Roast Dinner Plymouth

Our Sunday Carvery Plymouth is served every Sunday between 12pm-3pm. Then served plated until 5pm.

With a choice of succulent meats, golden crispy roast potatoes, seasonal freshly steamed vegetables, a giant homemade Yorkshire pudding and lashings of real gravy.

£16 per person | £20 for 2-courses | £24 for 3-courses

Under 12's are half price | Under 2's are complimentary

Chef’s homemade soup of the day served with warm crusty bread (vg)
Mackerel pate with toasted sourdough and horseradish butter
Melon and grape cocktail with passion fruit glaze (vg)
Chicken liver parfit served with melba toast, red onion marmalade and salad

Mains

Roast topside of beef, crispy pork loin or roasted turkey breast served with a medley of vegetables, crisp roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and rich gravy
Mediterranean vegetable wellington served with roast potatoes, vegetables, and a tomato and garlic sauce (vg)
Whole grilled lemon sole with lemon butter, new potatoes and salad
Chicken Caesar salad
Classic beef, bacon and cheese burger served with chips and coleslaw
Buttered chicken burger served with chips and coleslaw

Desserts

Berry panna cotta (v)

Carvery: Amazing!!! (visited as a family of 8) the meat was amazing thickly sliced and plentiful. We had a choice of pork, beef or chicken with gravy, lovely roast potatoes, parsnip and swede. The stuffing was fantastic. I really enjoyed the good food. Sam the Head Chef popped out to say hello and check everything was ok and if we where enjoying our food. Would highly recommend giving this place a try on a Sunday makes other carvery’s look insignificant!

Have been here twice in the last two weeks with the family for Sunday lunch. The first week l had the roast and it didn't disappoint plenty of it and steaming hot. The second week they had fresh plaice on the menu so thought l would give it a try, cooked to perfection compliments to Sam the new Head Chef and her staff. Another surprise was the price very reasonable for two and three courses will definitely be back.

Visited for Sunday carvery, staff were really attentive and couldn’t do enough. The food was lovely, fresh and plenty of it. Sam the Head Chef came around and spoke to everyone which I thought was a nice touch. Will definitely be visiting again.

Disabled Access

The open-plan restaurant is on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. There is booth seating and tables where a chair can be easily removed for a wheelchair. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the restaurant. Admittedly, there is no accessible toilet in the restaurant; however, there is one in the conference corridor next to the other bathrooms. This is a short distance away. Guests at Fishbone Restaurant get free parking. Please ensure you enter your car registration details on one of the consoles in the restaurant or reception when you arrive. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice.
