You might have some questions about our gift vouchers. Here are some of our most frequently asked questions with the answers.
How do I purchase a Future Inns gift voucher?
Our gift vouchers are only available to purchase online.
When purchasing your gift voucher, you will be asked for the email address of the recipient. You can even write a personal message.
If you do not want to enter their email address, you should input your email. It will be emailed to you, and you can print from home.
Do you sell gift vouchers to print at home?
Yes, all of our gift vouchers are purchased online and can be printed at home.
What if I want to give someone a physical gift voucher?
In this instance, when ordering the voucher, simply use your own email address as the recipient. When the voucher is emailed to you, print it out and give it to the recipient whenever you choose.
How can I pay for my gift vouchers?
Future Inns uses SK Chase as a gift voucher platform. SK Chase accepts payment from most major credit/debit cards. Please note: we do not accept American Express. Our site is fully secure, using secure sockets layer (SSL) technology. We do not store your credit/debit card details online.
When will payment be taken from my account?
Future Inns uses SK Chase as a gift voucher platform. SK Chase utilises an automatic online payment process. Your payment will be taken from you as soon as you place your order and you receive an order confirmation email. If payment has been unsuccessful, you will be notified during the order process by online screen messages.
Do I have to pre-register to buy gift vouchers?
No, we only take your details to process the booking.
Do your gift vouchers come with free delivery?
Yes, all of our gift vouchers are emailed directly to you or the recipient free of charge.
Are there any additional fees or charges for sending vouchers?
There are no additional costs, you will only pay for the monetary value amount of the voucher you choose to purchase.
How do I redeem my gift voucher?
On each gift voucher, it explains how to make a booking. If it is an overnight stay, it will have the details of the hotel's Reservations Team. If it is a restaurant gift voucher, it will have the contact details of the eating establishment.
Can gift vouchers be used online?
At the moment, gift vouchers cannot be redeemed online.
When booking an overnight stay, please have your gift voucher to hand, so the Reservations Team can process this for you. You will still need to bring the gift voucher with you, and present this to the Reception Team when you check in or check out.
This is the same if you have a monetary voucher, and wish to use this against and overnight stay.
If you have a restaurant experience gift voucher, you will need to bring this with you when you dine.
If you do not bring the gift voucher with you, you will be asked to settle the bill with a card payment.
Do gift vouchers have an expiry date?
All future Inns gift vouchers have a 12-month expiry date, from the date of purchase. Plenty of time to redeem your gift.

The most asked question when Coronavirus hit was, will gift vouchers be extended?
Any gift voucher that expired during the temporary closure due to COVID-19 was extended by 12 months from the date of expiration.
All gift vouchers purchased from 4th July 2020 onwards have a 12-month validity period from the date of purchase.
What if I have made a mistake on my order?
If you have made a mistake, please call the relevant hotel, quoting your order reference number. We will do our utmost to try and make any necessary changes.
What should I do if I did not receive my printable PDF?
You should receive your printable PDF within 10 minutes after your payment has been taken. If this is not the case, it might be lost in your spam folder. If it is not there, please call the relevant hotel, quoting your order reference number.
Can gift vouchers be refunded?
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund gift vouchers.
What if I have lost my gift voucher?
Gift vouchers should be treated like cash, and cannot be replaced if lost, misplaced or stolen.
Can I extend my gift voucher?
Future Inns gift vouchers cannot be extended.
Can I change my gift voucher for something else?
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for an alternative or different experience.
Can I use part of the gift voucher value?
You must use the full voucher amount. If you spend less than the voucher amount, we will not give you the difference in cash or vouchers. If you exceed the voucher amount, the additional will need to be paid by yourself.
Can I use more than one voucher at a time?
Yes, you can use as many vouchers as you like as long as they are for the relevant service and in date.
Where are your gift vouchers valid to be used?
You can use our Gift vouchers in the UK. The monetary gift vouchers can be used in our Bristol, Cardiff or Plymouth hotel and restaurants. We have property specific vouchers, please select these in Gift Vouchers Bristol, Gift Vouchers Cardiff or Gift Vouchers Plymouth.
Do you sell gift vouchers for couples?
Yes, our overnight stay vouchers are for two people, and so are the majority of dining experiences. Sunday lunch and afternoon tea are sold per person.
Do you sell gift vouchers for restaurants?
Yes, gift vouchers can be purchased for Chophouse Restaurant in Bristol, Thomas Restaurant in Cardiff and Fishbone Restaurant in Plymouth.
Do you sell gift vouchers for food?
Yes, we have lunch, dinner, cocktail and dinner experiences as well as afternoon tea and Sunday lunch. In Bristol, you can even enjoy dinner and live jazz.
Do you sell gift voucher for afternoon tea?
Yes, afternoon tea can be enjoyed in Thomas Restaurant in Cardiff and Fishbone Restaurant in Plymouth. We have traditional afternoon tea, sparkling afternoon tea, gin and tonic afternoon tea, cocktail afternoon tea and even a children’s afternoon tea.
Who can buy gift vouchers?
Anyone can purchase or receive our gift vouchers. However, popular gift voucher choices for women are our afternoon tea gift vouchers, Sunday lunch gift vouchers and luxury overnight breaks. Popular gift voucher choices for men are 3-course dinners in the restaurant, bed and breakfast breaks and dinner and live jazz in our Bristol hotel.
Do you sell gift vouchers for kids?
Yes, we do not want children to feel left out. There are is a Wild Days Out package in our Bristol hotel which includes tickets to Bristol Zoo. We also sell Sunday lunch and afternoon tea gift vouchers for children.
Do you sell gift vouchers for teachers?
Yes, we know that end of term and end of year presents are popular. Gift vouchers are a great way of saying thank you to a teacher and letting them pick their ideal date. The most popular gift vouchers choices for teachers are monetary amounts, afternoon tea and cocktail experiences.
